Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Cleaner to join a growing manufacturing business based in Knowsley. Working within a modern production facility, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping across manufacturing and processing areas.

This position would suit someone with experience in industrial cleaning, food manufacturing, chemical processing, pharmaceutical production, warehouse cleaning, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out cleaning and sanitisation of manufacturing and production areas.

* Clean production equipment, vessels, pipework, floors, walls, and work surfaces in accordance with cleaning procedures.

* Safely use industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment.

* Complete cleaning records and documentation accurately.

* Support production teams in maintaining GMP and hygiene standards.

* Dispose of waste materials in accordance with site procedures.

* Perform deep-cleaning activities during planned shutdowns and maintenance periods.

* Identify and report housekeeping, hygiene, safety, or maintenance issues.

* Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety policies and site procedures.

Requirements

* Previous industrial cleaning experience is essential.

* Experience cleaning within a warehouse and production/manufacturing environment is essential.

* Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety and safe working practices.

* Ability to follow cleaning schedules, procedures, and instructions accurately.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

* Good communication skills and a positive, proactive approach to work.
