Income Officer, Reading (remote), £26,200, 6 month contract.
Position Overview:
As the Income / Billing Officer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of income generation and billing processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities for the income officer:
Generate and send invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor and track outstanding invoices, following up with clients as necessary to ensure prompt payment.
Reconcile income received with invoices issued, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborate with the sales and client services teams to ensure accurate billing of services rendered.
Process payments received through various channels, recording transactions accurately in the accounting system.
Maintain updated records of all billing and payment activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders regarding billing and payment issues.
Qualifications or the income officer:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred not mandatory)
Proven experience in income generation, billing, or accounts receivable management.
Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry / financial calculations.
