Description:
We are seeking an experienced Import Logistics Executive to join our clients busy freight forwarding team in Tilbury.
Position Details:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Type: Permanent, Full time
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with clientele and suppliers, including shipping lines, hauliers, and depots.
Generating internal documentation.
Creating and sending out invoices.
Reviewing and processing supplier invoices, raising queries as needed.
Monitoring vessel arrivals.
Coordinating collections and deliveries, ensuring adherence to customer deadlines.
Conducting post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identifying any additional services to offer.
Experience & Skills Required:
Minimum of two years' experience in a small to medium-sized freight forwarding company.
Familiarity with CNS and Destin8; knowledge of multi-freight forwarding software is advantageous.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
A team player
Strong mathematical and English language skills.
