Description:
A Freight Forwarding organisation are seeking a Import Clerk to join their team in Basildon.
Responsibilities;
* Providing customer service to overseas partners
* Focusing on Ocean Freight services
* Liaise regularly with overseas partners
* Checking paperwork via EDI
* Processing import jobs from bookings to deliveries
* Completing customs clearance for clients
* Working alongside the commercial team
* Provide transport companies with information to ensure delivery requirements are met
* Ensure filed are costed and invoiced
* Assist with insurance claims
Skills Required;
* Ocean freight knowledge
* Experience completing import shipment documentation
* Good communication skills
* Excellent team player
