MRP Systems Implementation Manager (Materials)

Type of role: Contract (Temp to Perm within 6-12 months)

Salary: Up to £25.00 per hour

Hours - 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday (can be flexible)

Our client is a leading railway infrastructure company dedicated to delivering excellence in rail services and operations. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MRP Manager to support with the implementation and management of ERP systems, Bill of Materials and Continuous Improvements.

Key Responsibilities

MRP (Stock status system) - ability to shape the platform and support with implementing this.
Bills of Materials structure and transparency from wing to wing.
Knowledge of Bill infrastructure
Continuous improvements
Data Analysis
Deliver production plans in line with operating parameters and costs whilst leading the site based team in support of the design and fitout of a new purpose built warehouse facility.
Ensure effective management and communication of any operational or procedural changes within the facility / operation whilst ensuring all employees focused to deliver against agreed plans and measures with respect to inventory management and logistics.
Promote all change initiatives or improvements in a timely manner to support optimum benefit to organisation and people within the warehouse operation.Experience & Qualifications

Proven warehousing management experience in a similar role is essential
Strong people management skills - Previous experience of managing teams and ability to priorities.
SAP ERP and WMS systems experience - advantageous
Financial / Budgetary awareness.
Management and use of MHE.
Management / Warehouse / People Management qualification would be advantageous.
Strong industry continuous improvement skills and knowledge.
Possess a dynamic leadership attitude, supporting teams as needed and work together to add value and manage challenges.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage, motivate and coach.
HSE qualification (such as IOSH / NEBOSH) - advantageous
Experience with SAP (Or similar WMS systems) - advantageous
