A specialist private immigration law firm based in Birmingham is looking for an experienced Immigration Caseworker to join its growing team. The role offers a varied caseload and the opportunity to take ownership of your own matters.
Immigration Caseworker Responsibilities:
Manage a private immigration caseload independently, from initial consultation through to completion.
Prepare and submit a range of UK immigration applications, including spouse/partner visas, settlement, visit visas, student and work routes, and nationality.
Conduct initial client consultations, assess individual circumstances and advise on suitable immigration routes.
Prepare supporting documents and representations, liaise with clients and the Home Office, and monitor applications through to a decision.
Take ownership of new cases, managing deadlines and progressing matters with minimal supervision.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
At least 5 years' experience handling private UK immigration matters.
Proven ability to manage cases independently from initial consultation to completion.
Strong knowledge of UK immigration law and Home Office procedures.
Experience handling a varied caseload, ideally including spouse/partner visas, settlement and PBS/dependant applications.
