Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Secondary School Teacher to join our vibrant teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality ICT education to students, inspiring and engaging them through a well-structured curriculum that encourages creativity and critical thinking.

Your role:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and record students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources, including up-to-date technology, to accommodate different learning styles.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
Support students' individual learning needs and provide additional assistance where required.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Stay current with advancements in ICT education and integrate new technologies and practices into the classroom.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to promote the ICT department and the school as a whole.
Maintain professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills

Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching at a secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for ICT.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational trends.
