Connex Education is working with a Secondary School in Redcar who are recruiting for a ICT Teacher to work full- time during term time. The role is to start in the new academic year (September 2024).

The ICT teacher role is based in a large multi-academy trust secondary school in the Redcar area. The school provide first class education to their students and have an excellent faculty with modern technology and supportive team.
Assignment Details
As a supply ICT teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to secondary school students across Key Stages 3-4. You will deliver lessons that align with the national curriculum and school schemes of work, employ a range of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles. Excellent subject knowledge, classroom management skills, and the ability to foster a positive learning environment are essential for the successful applicant.

Person Specification
must be 21 and over
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
PGCE in ICT or related subject from a recognized provider
You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
Have experience teaching ICT in a UK secondary school setting.
Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 ICT lessons across ability ranges.
Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
