ICT Project Manager – Remote with travel to site

LDNY People have partnered with an industry leading ICT Consultancy, who specialise in Consulting and Procurement services within the field of education and healthcare.

Well established yet growing, the provide services to schools, NHS Trusts and Governments, they have an exceptional client list a very strong pipeline of work going into 2025.

Due to current and future workload and strategic growth plans, they are currently looking to recruit an ICT Project Manager to join their team, this is a remote role working from home but will require trave to site.

You will be an experienced ICT Project Manager, with the ability to oversee ICT infrastructure installation in schools as part of wider construction schemes.

ICT Project Manager Role Responsibilities:

* End to end management of multiple projects within the ICT sector.

* Project Planning, develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including technical resource allocation, timelines and budgets.

* Manage and lead a team of engineers and other technical professions.

* Risk Management, identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor project sites from start through to handover.

* As ICT Project Manager, Implement quality assurance and control across the sites under your management.

* Liaise with clients to senior level, you must be comfortable in a client facing position.

ICT Project Manager Role Requirements:

* Previous experience and currently performing a similar role in ICT infrastructure management.

* Experience implementing and maintaining ICT infrastructure projects.

* You will ideally be from a project management background, and proficient in components such as networking, (LAN/WAN), wireless, AV and telecommunications.

* Experience managing and delivering ICT Projects within the construction sector and new builds would be advantageous.

* Happy to work remotely with travel to site. Due to project locations this role would suit someone based within the Midlands Region.

* A Full UK driving licence

* Prince 2 or similar project management qualification would be desirable.

* Strong problem solver, with the ability to work under your own initiative.
