ICT Digital Delivery Manager
Location: Hybrid Working, Exeter
Contract Type: Temporary, Full time, 37 hours per week
Contract Length: 3 months
Daily Rate: £500.00 per day inside IR35, paid to Umbrella
Our client, a prominent organisation within the public services sector, is seeking an experienced ICT Digital Delivery Manager for a temporary engagement. This position is crucial for overseeing ICT infrastructure and technical security. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the ICT needs of approximately 10,000 officers and staff working across 160 sites in the South West.
The ICT Digital Delivery Manager will be responsible for:
Directly managing small ICT teams and ensuring accountability of the Managed Service Provider and other suppliers in meeting contract obligations.
Maintaining a strong emphasis on high availability, Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, proactive risk management, and delivering value for money.
Overseeing Hosting Services, which includes the management of 900 servers across four data centres and Azure-hosted services.
Managing Voice & Data Network Services, including four call centres responsible for critical telephony systems.
Supporting Mobile Communications for 6,500 mobile phones and 8,000 Airwave radios.
Implementing technical security measures, including cyber risk management and defence strategies for this essential public service provider.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
A broad technical knowledge and substantial experience in managing ICT at a large scale.
Proven contract management experience is essential for the successful execution of the role.
Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee ICT teams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Public Sector experience is essential.
