IBA Accounts Executive

If you have experience with a Broker, Underwriter or Accounts within IBA background, this vacancy is ideal for you.

Producing accurate and precise accounting records and reports so attention to detail is crucial. Able to research and deliver special projects.

This role is within the finance team as an Insurance Broking Accounting (IBA) Accounts Executive.

Responsible for administering and servicing client and underwriter accounts in accordance with the Best Practice Manual and IBA procedures.

This key position will include:

* Credit control (including monthly statement rendering)

* Reconciling and allocating multi-currency cash receipts

* Raising of payment requests for settlement of claims and premiums

* Resolution of queries (internal & external)

* Reconciliation of accounts

* Aged debt management, advising and reporting. Liaising with internal and external parties in settlement of accounts, so excellent communication skills.

* Ensuring legal, market, regulatory requirements are upheld.

* High technical standards are met and always maintained.

* Able to work on own autonomy, and part of a larger team.

You will need:

* Experience with a Broker, Underwriter, or Accounting in a similar role.

* Previous experience within IBA Accounts working in an FCA regulated environment.

* Good attention to detail to be able to ensure accurate and precise accounting records.

* Good IT literacy skills (Excel)
