Bakkavor Bourne specialises in making prepared fruit, stir fry mixes, leafy and dressed salads. It employs over 1,100 people and forms part of the Bakkavor Meals sector in the UK.
We are looking for a Hygiene Section Leader to manage a section of the factory, reporting into the Hygiene Manager.
Salary: up to £33,000 depending on experience + night shift allowance
Location: Bakkavor Bourne - Spalding Road, Bourne, PE10 0AT
Shift: 4 on 4 off - Nights
Hours: 18:00 - 06:00
Contract Type: Permanent

Job Accountabilities
Health & Safety: Lead by example by ensuring established standards of hygiene, quality and safety are met. Ensure that team members are wearing correct PPE.
Performance Management: Manage performance and attendance of the team including absence management, return to work procedures, disciplinaries, etc.
Quality Standards: Ensure shift audits are carried out daily; report deviations from acceptable standards during shift handovers.
Continuous Improvement: Ensure delivery of agreed KPIs within the area through the team. Identify resource requirements and escalate to Hygiene Managers.
Responsible for managing a team: Team communication, training, recruitment, coaching and online supervision, including RTWs.
About You
In this role, you will have line management of 20 Operatives therefore previous experience as a Line Leader or similar will be beneficial. You will have experience working in a factory/manufacturing environment in a Hygiene role.
