Description:
The On Site Group are looking to recruit a HVAC Engineer for an exciting project in Billingham.
Project Description:
* Overall Project – Construction of a new greenfield Bio-Pharma facility for Fujifilm
* Scope – Mechanical piping & HVAC, Electrical & IT Packages
* Installation of all production reactors and equipment
* Installation of approximately 16,000m’s of pipe, various specifications
* Installation of approximately 22,000m2 of duct
HVAC Engineer’s Role:
* Take ownership of HVAC IFC construction drawings. Review and issue them to subcontractors and for procurement.
* Produce procurement schedules and issue to them to suppliers. Liaise with suppliers.
* Generation and management of technical submittals to client.
* Generation of RFIs as required.
* Generation of ‘First of a Kind’s as required.
* Assist construction team (Supervisor, subcontractor foreman, QAQC personnel) and address any queries raised.
* Liaise with design team, design consultants and construction management team.
* Carry out construction-ability reviews with construction team.
* Prepare handover test packs.
* Track progress of construction programme. Issue weekly progress reports.
* Report to HVAC Project Manager
* Production of CTPs and O&Ms.
Experience requirements:
* Similar type roles to above
* Experience with DW-144 installations, 3D modelling (Navisworks - Navigation only)
* Ideally with design experience in industrial HVAC. Working on site projects.
* Able to read AF&ID schematics.
* Experience with HVAC equipment, ductwork, insulation specifications
* Ideally with experience on HVAC commissioning (Testing, balancing, ….)
Pay is dependant on experience. Between £25 and £38 per hour.
