Extension Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an outstanding-rated college group in the appointment of a Lecturer & Programme Leader – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning based in Ashington.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional to join a supportive team and help develop the next generation of engineers. The HVAC Lecturer will deliver City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 programmes, including F-Gas qualifications, while leading the curriculum area.

Working 37 hours per week, the role includes 24 teaching hours and 13 hours dedicated to planning and preparation.

Key requirements:

* Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, including F-Gas.

* Strong industry experience working with refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

* All other teaching qualifications can be undertaken as part of the role with support. It would be advantageous if applicants already held Level 3 Assessor qualification and/or Level 3 teaching qualification (such as PTTLS).

* Level 2 English and Maths.

* Apprenticeship experience would be advantageous.
