We're looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer ❄️???? to join a leading engineering team in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large-scale, fast-paced critical environment, supporting the maintenance and operation of HVAC and mechanical building services systems across a busy operational site.
???? What you'll be doing:
✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems
✔️ Fault finding, servicing, and repairing air conditioning and ventilation equipment ❄️
✔️ Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and associated plant equipment
✔️ Supporting plant room inspections and routine maintenance activities
✔️ Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety and compliance standards ????
✔️ Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately ????
✔️ Working closely with the wider engineering and site teams to ensure smooth operations
???? What we're looking for:
* F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential) ❄️
* Previous experience within a commercial maintenance or Facilities Management environment
* Strong HVAC fault-finding and maintenance experience ????
* Good understanding of mechanical building services systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
⭐ Desirable:
* Experience working within critical or fast-paced environments
* Multi-skilled maintenance experience
* Knowledge of compliance and plant room operations
