Are you an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a mobile role with a leading facilities management company?
We're recruiting for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to join a well-established business delivering maintenance services across a major UK supermarket contract. The Role
Covering retail sites across the Telford area, you'll carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial heating and HVAC equipment.
Typical duties include:
* Servicing and repairing commercial gas systems
* Maintaining boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs and FCUs
* Fault finding and reactive breakdown repairs
* Carrying out planned maintenance and inspections
* Minor mechanical installations and alterations
* Identifying non-repairable faults and recommending replacements
* Ordering replacement parts where required
* Providing excellent customer service across multiple sites
What You'll Need
Essential
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heating, Mechanical or HVAC
* Current Commercial Gas ACS qualifications including:
* COCN
* CIGA
* CORT
* ICPN
* CDGA
* TPCP1/1A
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or retail environments
Desirable
* Domestic ACS qualifications
* F-Gas Category 1
* 18th Edition
* Experience using handheld/PDA systems
You'll also be happy to participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rota.
