HV Wireman/Fitter

6 Month Contract
Outside IR35
London

Essential requirements:

Proven experience as an HV Wireman/Fitter working on 11kV-400kV substation projects
Experience with panel wiring, relay and protection panels, control panels and HV electrical equipment
Strong background in cable installation, glanding, termination and earthing within HV substations
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience carrying out HV busbar installation and electrical fitting activities
Knowledge of substation installation standards, safe systems of work and quality requirements
Ability to work effectively as part of installation and commissioning teams on live HV infrastructure projectsDesirable:

Experience working on National Grid, UKPN or SSE projects
Experience on BESS or renewable energy projects
ECS Gold Card and 18th Edition qualification
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
Experience supporting testing and commissioning activities within substations
