Due to continuous growth and expansion, they are recruiting for a HV Engineer Trainer to join the Training team. If you have a strong background in high voltage engineering and a passion for developing others through the development and delivery of technical training, we would be delighted to hear from you!

***this role is based in West Cheshire with travel to customer sites approx. 2-3 days per month***

 About the role:

Design and deliver Training courses for engineers
Assess training needs and develop tailored curricula to address skill gaps
Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts and digital resources
Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance
Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to support professional development
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in engineering training
 What we’ll need from you:

Electrical Engineering qualification and/or proven experience in the T&D industry
Experience in instructional design and curriculum development
Strong communication and presentation skills
Competence in delivering training both in-person and virtually
Ability to engage and motivate learners across varying skill levels
Coaching and mentoring abilities to support professional growth
Strong organisational and planning skills
Solid understanding of engineering principles and practices
Familiarity with staff development methods through training and mentoring
Awareness of industry trends and best practices in engineering training
Certification in training or instructional design would be a distinct advantage
Experience in operational, protection or design engineering within the transmission & distribution (T&D) industry would also be considered an advantage
Flexibility to travel to client sites to deliver training
