Senior HV Electrical Engineer

North Yorkshire

£65 per hour

Initial 6-month contract

Key experience required:

Supporting HV operations across renewable and energy storage assets
Experience working on systems up to 400kV
Knowledge of HV switching procedures and operational safety standards
Familiarity with HV plant including transformers, switchgear and protection relays
Understanding of Grid Code requirements including G99/G100 and RfG
Supporting outage planning, switching schedules and operational activities
Experience reviewing protection schemes and relay coordination
Strong understanding of HV asset maintenance and operational performance
Ability to maintain technical and operational documentation
Previous experience within BESS, renewables or utility-scale generation projects
