Doncaster and Surrounding Areas | Secondary Schools | Flexible Supply Opportunities

Tradewind Education Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers to join our growing pool of secondary teaching professionals working across a range of partnership schools in Doncaster and the surrounding areas.

We are recruiting teachers across all Humanities specialisms, including:

History
Geography
Religious Education (RE)
Citizenship
Sociology
Psychology
Social SciencesWhether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we have opportunities to suit your availability and career goals. Assignments include day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements, with both full-time and part-time options available.

The Role

As a Humanities Teacher working through Tradewind Education, you will:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for Key Stage 5 teaching in some settings.
Plan, prepare and assess learning where required for longer-term assignments.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and student wellbeing.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and school leaders to support student success.
Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate.

Requirements

To be considered for these opportunities, candidates should have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Humanities subjects within a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A flexible and professional approach to teaching.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
