Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Humanities teacher with a specialism in RE and History.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment where Humanities subjects are highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality RE and History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging RE and History lessons that inspire and challenge students
Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting lessons to meet the needs of different abilities
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement
Encourage students to develop their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of key historical, religious and cultural topicsRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Specialism in RE, History or a related Humanities subject
Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge across RE and/or History
Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4
A passion for Humanities and a commitment to supporting student progress
