Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging and accessible humanities lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with a variety of learning challenges.
Collaborate with other staff members, including SEN specialists, to ensure holistic support for each child.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their individual learning goals.
Foster a love of learning and curiosity about the world in your students.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges.
Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
