Are you an enthusiastic and committed Humanities teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a talented and dedicated Humanities teacher to join our team at a 'Good' rated school in Hackney. This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire and educate students in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.

Responsibilities

- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Humanities that engage and challenge students.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive Humanities curriculum that meets educational standards.
- Student Assessment: Regularly assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth.
- Interdisciplinary Projects: Facilitate interdisciplinary projects that integrate various Humanities subjects to provide a holistic learning experience.
- Extra-Curricular Activities: Lead and participate in extra-curricular activities such as History and Geography clubs, field trips, and school events.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and best practices in Humanities education.

Requirements
- Education: A degree in a Humanities subject or a related field and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level.
- Passion for Humanities: A deep passion for Humanities subjects and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to students.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Classroom Management: Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school community.
