Location: Mobility Services, Carshalton and Dorset, Berkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and West Sussex

Hours: 37.5 (full time)

Salary: £26,000 (full time) 12 months Fixed Term Contract

The role:

* To lead and co-ordinate the activities of the regional Hubs Mobility Service ensuring clear advice and personalised support is given to people enabling them to access transport solutions.

* Be responsible for certain QEF projects at a local level -including involvement in training design and delivery.

* Collaborate with other mobility centres (via the Driving Mobility network) in sharing ideas, developments, and cross-centre knowledge around the Hub's offering.

* Ensure Quality and Assurance through monitoring accreditation standards, reviewing processes and managing complaints in line with Data Protection Legislation.

Experience:

Successful candidate is likely to demonstrate the following:

* Must have held a client-facing role within the health and social care, disability, local authority, public or charity sector and/or experience of collaborative working/partnership within these sectors

* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

* Awareness of the health and socio-economic challenges individuals are facing and what support infrastructure is in place to assist people. E.g. awareness of needs assessments via local authorities, memory clinics, social prescribers etc.

* Ability to travel around the areas of Dorset, Berkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and West Sussex – work is a mixture of office and community-based.

* High degree of initiative, and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

* Is committed to the provision of a high-quality, client-focused service

* Friendly and helpful; Compassionate and empathetic; Sensitive and diplomatic
