HSSE Data Manager

Description:

TXM Recruit are excited to announce an opportunity with one of the largest Rail operators in the UK as a HSSE Data manager based in Birmingham.

What does the job involve?

Utilize interactive data visualization software like Power BI or Tableau to enhance HSSE analytical effectiveness across WMT.
Generate periodic and ad hoc internal HSSE Performance Reports.
Promote and develop HSSE standards and processes, offering professional support services.
Provide specialist advice to improve investigation processes, report quality, and share best practices through HSSE analytics.
Advise senior management on HSSE business impact and develop action plans.
Monitor and report progress on HSSE initiatives, including formal reporting on safety and environmental plans.
Produce statistical reports for external parties as required by legislation and Railway Group Standards.
Coordinate with external organizations like RSSB, ATOC, and ORR to address joint safety and environmental issues effectively.Experience Required:

Deep understanding of occupational health and safety legislation as relates to reporting.
H&S qualification preferable (not essential)
Expert knowledge of occupational safety and health & wellbeing management systems
Significant experience in using data visualisation tools and analysing multiple sources of data.
Experience of implementing management systems within rail or related environments
Appreciation of government and key stakeholder health and safety agendas
Strategic thinker
Disciplined approach to policy and process development
Skilful communicator and influencer
