Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm

We’re supporting our client, a Global Measurement Machine manufacturer based in Andover, who are looking for a HSQ Administrator to join their growing team. The successful HSQ Administrator will have experience of Health & Safety processes, Quality management and quality systems.

To support the Quality & Compliance Systems Manager to implement and maintain the Company’s systems and processes for compliance to legal requirements.

Responsibilities for HSQ Administrator:

* Ensure Organisational Compliance to Health & Safety Regulations including:

COSHH – Control of Substances Hazardous to Health

RoHS – The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic

Equipment

REACH – Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & Restriction of Chemicals

WEEE – Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment

RIDDOR – Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulation 2013

PPE – Personal Protective Equipment

* Creating and maintaining Risk Assessments and Method Statements

* Monitoring changes in regulations and initiating changes required to remain compliant

* Coordinate accident reporting and records

* Coordinate Fire Safety measures and records

* Assist with Quality System, compliance and facilities tasks as requested by your manager

* Monitor and regulate Internal e-learning system

* Undertake additional duties as requested by your manager

About You:

* NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications or be studying towards

* Have an understanding of general engineering and/or quality systems

* An aptitude for problem solving and the ability to develop solutions

* Effective communicator to all stakeholders

* Excellent organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Knowledge of MS Office
