I’m working with a leading Tier 1 contractor who are looking to strengthen their HSQE team with an experienced HSQE Advisor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering major construction and infrastructure projects, with the backing and resources of a Tier 1 contractor and plenty of scope for career development.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards across projects, working closely with operational teams and management to ensure HSQE remains at the heart of delivery.
The role
* Ensure compliance with HSQE standards, legislation and industry best practice
* Provide practical HSQE support and guidance to project and operational management
* Carry out site audits, inspections and reviews
* Lead and support incident investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions
* Work collaboratively with site teams to continually improve HSQE performance
* Promote a positive and proactive health, safety, quality and environmental culture
* Support the business in maintaining and improving its HSQE systems and standards
What we're looking for
Essential:
* Previous experience in an HSQE role within construction or civil engineering
* Strong knowledge of UK HSQE legislation
* Good understanding of construction industry best practice
* Confident working with operational teams and management
* Strong communication and influencing skills
Desirable:
* Chartered status or working towards chartership
* Experience working on Water or Energy projects
* Experience within a Tier 1 or major contractor environment
