Job Overview
The Construction Health & Safety Supervisor is responsible for implementing and overseeing safety, checking sub contractors RAMS and commenting, offering recommendations. This role requires a thorough understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and strong communication skills to promote a safety-first culture. Chairing site inductions
Key Responsibilities
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA or other relevant safety standards, local regulations, and company policies.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards on the construction site.
Safety Training: Organize and deliver safety training programs for all construction personnel.
Incident Reporting: Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near-misses, providing recommendations for preventing future occurrences.
Safety Inspections: Perform regular safety inspections to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe operation of machinery, and adherence to safety protocols.
Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct safety drills.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training sessions, and compliance documents.
