Health & Safety Manager
Location: UK / Field-Based

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 + Car + Benefits
D7 Recruitment is partnering with a growing engineering and distribution business to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager. This is a hands-on, visible and client-facing role supporting engineering and service teams across customer sites throughout the UK.
The Role
* Provide practical H&S advice across client sites.
* Drive consistent H&S standards and procedures.
* Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
* Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
* Support RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
* Ensure contractor and site documentation is in place.
* Coach and influence managers and employees.
* Monitor H&S performance and drive improvements.
* Support training and behavioural safety initiatives.
* Improve and standardise H&S systems and processes.
* Produce reports and improvement actions.
* Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Travel regularly to client sites across the UK.
What We're Looking For
* H&S experience within an operational environment.
* Engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical services background.
* NEBOSH General Certificate.
* IOSH membership.
* Experience with CDM.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Confidence working with operational teams, contractors and clients.
* Practical, solutions-focused approach.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
Desirable
* Engineering environment experience.
* Construction-related project experience.
