HSE Manager

Description:

We're looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join a major data centre construction project, taking ownership of health, safety and environmental performance across a fast-paced, high-specification site.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows construction, understands the pressure of delivering critical infrastructure, and has the confidence to challenge when standards aren't good enough.

What you'll be doing:

Own and drive the site HSE strategy and performance
Lead a proactive safety culture across contractors and project teams
Identify risk, challenge unsafe practices and make things happen
Manage inspections, audits, RAMS, incident investigations and reporting
Work closely with the Project and Construction teams to deliver safely and efficiently
Ensure compliance with legislation, client standards and project requirements
Engage, coach and influence everyone from site operatives to senior leadershipWhat we're looking for:

Proven HSE experience within major construction projects
Experience working on data centres, critical infrastructure, MEP or similarly complex environments is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and construction standards
NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE qualification
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Someone who is visible, practical and confident enough to challenge the status quoThe opportunity:
