On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a HSE Coordinator for a 12 months contract based in Inchinnan. Please note that the HSE Coordinator role is going to be on a rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities:

As an HSE Coordinator you will ensure contractors are signed in, correctly inducted and authorised to access the site.
Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety procedures.
Complete regular safety walk-rounds, representing approximately 75% of the role.
Review risk assessments and method statements.
Control and monitor work permits.
Address unsafe practices and escalate safety concerns when required.
Maintain accurate induction, access and contractor compliance records.Requirements:

Experience overseeing contractors in a manufacturing, engineering, factory or industrial environment.
Experience reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
Knowledge of contractor induction, access-control and permit-to-work processes.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
Experience completing site inspections or safety walk-rounds.Next steps:
