As a Health & Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of all personnel within the precision machining and engineering environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and providing comprehensive safety training to employees.
This is what you'll be doing:
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations and protocols.
Develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Investigate accidents and incidents, implementing corrective measures.
Provide safety training and orientations to employees.
Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Stay updated on changes in health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Act as a resource for employees regarding safety concerns and reporting procedures.
