H&S Advisor

Description:

I am recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor role for a Yorkshire Housing Association for an interim 6 month contract to start as soon as possible. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety of our workforce and stakeholders by maintaining robust health and safety policies and processes. It involves providing proactive guidance and advice while ensuring compliance with legislation, including CDM regulations.

This role would suit an experienced Health and Safety Advisor ideally with a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, practical experience in health and safety legislation, and CDM knowledge.

Key Responsibilities: -

- Identify areas of non-compliance and conduct health and safety audits and make recommendations to senior management.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and provide advice and supporting safe working practices.

- Advise on health and safety matters and maintain compliance with CDM requirements spefically in the areas of development, repairs, investments and maintenance.

- to complete H&S assessments and monitor contractor performance to ensure CDM requirements are being met

- To analyse accident and incident data and to regular review and improve the reporting process.

Contract Overview:

* 6 month Contract

* Agile Working on offer

* You will be required to travel to sites across Yorkshire to complete audits

* All travel will be reimbursed

* IR35 status to be determined

* Per hourly / day rate
