Description:

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a H&S Advisor on a 6 month rolling contract based Scotland.

The Crossaig Substation Project comprises the construction of a new 275kV substation and overhead line, connecting into the recently completed 275kV overhead line between Inveraray and Crossaig. The project scope includes associated access, drainage, fencing and landscaping works.

The new substation will upgrade the existing 132kV Crossaig Substation and will support the export of renewable energy from the Argyll area, forming part of a wider, secured project pipeline running through to 2035.

The H&S Advisor will provide on-site health, safety and CDM support to the Crossaig Substation Project, working closely with the client and delivery teams to embed a strong safety culture across a technically complex, high-risk construction environment. The role offers a high level of autonomy, with the opportunity to take ownership of health and safety delivery on a major, high-profile infrastructure project.
