Job Summary

We are looking at for an enthusiastic HR and Talent Acquisition Assistant with experience in recruitment and new staff on boarding management. The successful candidate is a passionate and warm person, approachable and focused on details.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Recruitment

· Working with the HR Business Partner, ensuring hiring managers are fully supported and trained in hiring practices to deliver a seamless candidate experience and consistent process.

· Own and administer the end to end recruitment process from screening CVs, arranging technical assessments, organising online and on-site interviews, managing offer approval process, feedback within agreed SLAs, until on boarding.

· Proactively discover and connect potential candidates, generate talent maps to ensure a future pipeline of talents are built.

· Keep accurate and up to date records and produce monthly reports detailing vacancy pipeline, time to hire and strategic proposals to ensure targets are met.

· Manage and support campus recruitment projects, maintain university relations, organise student competitions and attending student events.

On boarding and off boarding

· Work with the Admin and IT teams, to ensure a smooth on-boarding and off-boarding experience for new hires and leavers.

· Be responsible to new starter Right to Work check.

HR Compliances

· Manage employee right to work records to ensure they are legally obligated.

· Maintain employee files, remove documents following the GDPR requests.

· Manage intern's end of internship assessment.

· Ensure GDPR compliance throughout all HR processes.

Key skills and experience required:

· Previous in-house recruitment/agency recruitment experience, particularly in ICT industrial is preferred.

· Continuous improvement and focus on efficiency

· Exceptional organisational and reporting ability

· Strong interpersonal and communication ability

· The ability to build and maintain a network of contacts for building a future talent pipeline

· Experience with managing hiring processes

· Training and supporting hiring managers

· Knowledge or experience of hiring globally including an understanding of UK Visas and Immigration regulations
