We are seeking an experienced HR Systems Implementation Lead with a strong background in HR systems implementation to act as the HR lead throughout the project lifecycle. This role will bridge the gap between HR operations, system suppliers, and project stakeholders, ensuring the new solution delivers meaningful improvements to the employee and manager experience.

Our client is embarking on a significant project to implement a new Employee Relations (ER) Case Management System, aimed at modernising and streamlining HR processes, improving case tracking, enhancing reporting capability, and transitioning key activities from manual to electronic workflows.

Description

Act as the HR lead for the implementation of a new Employee Relations Case Management System.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, IT colleagues and external suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and map existing ER and HR processes, identifying opportunities for standardisation, simplification and automation.
Design and support the transition from manual and paper-based processes to electronic workflows.
Capture business requirements and translate operational needs into system configuration requirements.
Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution and deployment activities.
Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures and user guidance materials.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and workshops to ensure effective adoption of new ways of working.
Identify risks, dependencies and change impacts, escalating issues where appropriate.
Support change management, communications and end-user training activities.
Ensure data quality, compliance and governance considerations are incorporated into system design and implementation.

Profile

A successful HR Systems Implementation Lead should have:

Proven experience in implementing HRIS or similar systems.
Strong understanding of Human Resources processes and requirements.
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ideally ER Case Management Systems experience
Experience gaine in the Higher Education and Training sector is highly desirable Job Offer

This role offers the opportunity for a HR Systems Implementation Lead to play a pivotal role in transforming HR service delivery through the successful implementation of a new case management platform. You will have significant influence on how Employee Relations services are delivered in the future and will work with senior stakeholders on a high-profile organisational change programme.

Contract: 9 Months Full-Time (or 12 Months at 0.75 FTE)
Salary: Grade 8 (£47,389 - £59,966 pro rata)
Location: Hybrid Liverpool City Centre
Start Date: September 2026
