Description:
Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading food manufacturer based in East Riding of Yorkshire supplying to major retailers. Due to a period of exciting growth, they are looking to appoint a HR & Recruitment Coordinator to collaborate with the wider HR function on general administration and recruitment strategy.
On offer:
* Salary is £28k - £32k DOE
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
* Company pension
* 40 hours per week
The role:
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR & Recruitment Coordinator will assist the department with HR delivery in the factory and recruitment needs.
The successful candidate is tasked with maintaining employee records, providing advice to factory workers and handling contracts for new starters.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
* Handling absence and sickness reporting
* Organising and attending job fairs and networking with candidates
* Creating internal high volume recruitment campaigns
* Taking notes in relevant HR meetings
* Supporting the employee lifecycle administratively
* Managing the HR mailbox as required
Candidate requirements:
The business is looking for an individual with experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment within FMCG.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* CIPD Level 3 (beneficial but not essential)
* Confident engaging with operational teams and factory workers
