The ideal candidate will be confident completing general HR duties such as handling employee queries, supporting HR procedures and maintaining accurate information on systems.
Job Title: HR Officer
Type: 12-month FTC (Maternity Cover)
Salary: Circa £34,000
Location: Windsor, fully office based
Responsibilities:
First point of contact for employee queries
Ensure employee information on the HR system is accurate and up-to-date
Cooperating with line managers across different departments to implement HR policies and procedures
Involvement in recruitment - screening, assessing and interviewing candidates
Produce offer letters and ensure pre-employment checks are complete
Supporting with employee relations casework
Comply with procedures and legislation relating to confidentiality
Aid in tasks that ensure the smooth running of the department
Dealing with changes in employee's pay and job responsibilitiesSkills and experience:
Previous experience in an HR role at a similar level
CIPD qualifications or working towards a qualification is advantageous
Eager to learn and pick up new systems
Use own initiative
Excellent eye for detail
Strong communication skills
