HR Manager (Retail) – Hays – Perm - up to £60K plus £6K car allowance, up to 15% bonus and great benefits
Are you a proactive, results-oriented HR professional who loves making a positive impact, you could be the perfect fit for this role.
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join an International consumer goods manufacturer.
You’ll be overseeing all things HR, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. You’ll also be handling H & S and working closely with our key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle recruitment, onboarding, performance management, internal communications, training, health and safety, staff welfare, administration, workforce planning, and employee relations.
* Work with managers on workforce and organisational planning, succession planning, and talent assessments.
* Drive change within the organisation, aligning initiatives with business goals.
* Manage talent management activities, including the annual performance review cycle.
* Support employee surveys, debrief managers and staff on results, and help with action planning.
* Track and report HR KPI performance, benchmarking against industry standards.
* Provide support and advice on HR and Health and Safety functions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Investigate employee complaints/issues promptly and recommend resolutions.
* Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all personnel records.
* Offer expertise in local Compensation and Benefits, assisting employees with related questions and concerns.
* Lead or support international HR projects as needed.
Skills and Experience
* Experience as a Retail HR Manager preferred.
* Experience with global organisations.
* Familiarity with direct and matrix organisational environments.
* HRIS implementation experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Coaching and training experience.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
* CIPD Level 5 certification.
* At least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager or Generalist.
* Fluent in written and spoken English; additional Nordic languages are a plus
