Michael Page are excited to support a very successful and prestigious organisation to appoint for a HR Manager role based at a manufacturing site near Buxton.

Due to the nature of this sector, the role is a fully office based role.

Description

The role of HR Manager will play a critical role to support leadership at this busy, fast-paced site. Working closely with the operational leadership team, you will provide expert guidance on all people matters associated with this manufacturing/supply chain division.

This will include but not limited to:

Partner closely with site leadership and management providing expert advice on all people matters to ensure commercial goals are reached
Support with recruitment projects and inductions
Work closely with Trade Unions for the divisions
Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring positive outcomes.
Develop and implement training programmes to support employee development.
Lead on any change projects
Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with other departments to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and talent developmentProfile

Successful applicants for this role will have:

A proven background within a similar sector such as manufacturing/logistics
A proven background within a unionised environment
Be comfortable in a fully site based role, understanding the need for visibility within this sector
Be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people matters ranging from supporting with administration and advisory duties through to partnering strategically with the site leadershipJob Offer
