HR Manager
Mid Kent – Hybrid
Up to £55,000
We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a growing and innovative business looking for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of its people function. This is a standalone, generalist HR position where you'll have the autonomy to shape processes, support leaders, and make a genuine impact across the business.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll be the go-to HR expert, providing advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle while helping to drive continuous improvement as the organisation continues to grow.
Duties include:
Managing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding.
Providing expert advice and support on employee relations matters, including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance cases.
Maintaining HR policies and ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.
Coordinating monthly payroll inputs and overseeing employee benefits administration.
Supporting recruitment activities, including agency management, interview coordination and onboarding.
Producing HR reports and people metrics for the senior leadership team.
Coordinating learning and development initiatives across the business.
Leading and supporting HR projects to improve employee engagement, policies and organisational effectiveness.
The right candidate will have/be:
CIPD Level 5 (or above), or equivalent HR experience.
Previous experience in a generalist HR position at HR Advisor level or above.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Experience independently managing employee relations cases.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to manage a varied workload with minimal supervision.
Experience working within an SME or growing business would be highly advantageous.
