HR Manager

This incredible local employer is seeking a superb HR professional to join them and take responsibility for managing the HR function within a new part of the business and ensure the creation of a team culture that is in line with the company’s brand. This is a unique, diverse, and exciting position for an experienced and eager HR Manager.

HR Manager Responsibilities

The HR Manager will be responsible for delivering excellence across all aspects of HR and support the managers and leadership team in building, developing and mentoring a team of industry experts.

To be successful in this role you will have previous HR Manager level experience of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, within a growing company, and of developing and implementing processes, systems and initiatives that create and sustain a positive organisational culture. You must possess strong UK employment law knowledge and UK HR working experience alongside full generalist HR knowledge and experience as you will be the go-to HR person within this part of the organisation and the main point of contact for all HR related matters. The ideal candidate must possess a CIPD qualification at Level 5 or equivalent and be experienced at influencing, coaching and facilitating Managers to drive performance.

HR Manager Experience

To succeed in this HR Manager role, you will be people focused and not afraid to challenge the status quo in the spirit of creating a better work environment, stronger team and long-term success. You must have previous HR management experience within a similar scale-up environment such as luxury leisure, luxury hospitality and hotels or luxury retail for example, where you will have expertise and commerciality in dealing with stakeholders within a fast-paced premium environment. You must have a flexible approach to work as some weekends and evening work will be required around certain times of the year, however time off in lieu will be provided. You must have excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and be a dynamic and passionate HR professional with gravitas, confidence to influence and be a credible role model, able to coach and facilitate. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and prioritise, working under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will work closely with the senior management team across operational departments as a figurehead for HR within the business. You will be experienced at managing employee relations cases, overseeing payroll administration, and advising managers on performance management and development within a generalist HR role at HR Manager level.

Location

Based in Northamptonshire, NN12, there are excellent facilities and parking available onsite. There is the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week although you must be prepared to be in the office as often as is required, particularly during peak seasons. You must have a car and be able to drive due to the location of the offices.
