Barnstaple
£75,000 - £90,000
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading manufacturing business in the Barnstaple area.
This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for driving the people agenda across the site, partnering with senior management to support organisational growth, employee engagement, workforce planning, and operational performance.
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the site HR team and HR strategy
Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development
Manage employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities
Drive employee engagement, culture change, and development initiatives
Ensure compliance with employment law, HR policies, and best practices
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role
Strong employee relations and performance management expertise
Experience delivering organisational change and engagement programmes
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
Skilled in workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
