Reporting into a visionary HR Manager and excellent mentor - this role sits in a HR department of experienced HR and Training professionals and offers an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure, knowledge and experience in HR and Training support work. Our client is a highly progressive innovative organisation offering the opportunity for a new HR intern to work for 6 months as part of their busy HR team and experience what it is like working for a world leading technology lead business with ambitious plans to grow on a global platform.

Brief Description of the job:
Working on a 6 month contract this role offers hybrid/home working providing key HR and administration support services on a day to day basis to a busy HR /Training team.
3 days a week will be spent in the office in Hull and 2 days working from home, the role covers the following
Coordinating and administering training events and activities and supporting and administering on the implementation of HR projects.
Support with HR metrics and reporting.
Support the planning execution of employee engagement initiatives.
Support documenting and process mapping HR employee life cycle activities.
Assist with their Employee Rewards Programme.
Support with HR projects and HR administration.
Ensure all HR documentation is clear and up-to-date.
Coordinate online team files enabling to retain key information.
Assist and support local HR team with HR administration, coordination tasks including office events and facilities events.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have a real interest in working for a busy HR department and be interested in gaining exposure to a HR dept that really do understand "what good looks like".
Essential are strong administration experience with an excellent outstanding understanding of general administration skills.
In depth knowledge of IT (advanced level Excel/PowerPoint/Word) is essential.
Highly organised and able to work unsupervised on tasks with incredible attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to multi-task, complete tasks to required and desired instructions applying accuracy and initiative.
A real "can do" attitude and strong team player.
Proactive and collaborative approach to work.
Strong problem solving skills.
A desire to experience working and supporting a busy HR dept.

SALARY:
£24,000 - 27,000 (depending on experience)

LOCATION:
Hull (Hybrid working 3 days office 2 home)
(will consider full or part time candidates)
