Adecco are recruiting for a HR Generalist for a Local Authority.

£24.62 per hour PAYE or £32.17 per hour Umbrella
Locations: Twickenham or Wandsworth
Working Arrangements: Hybrid Working, 3 days per week in the office
Contract: 3 Month Temporary Assignment (Likely Extension)Adecco are recruiting on behalf of our Local Authority client for two HR Generalists to join their team on a temporary basis.

As part of an ongoing organisational transformation programme, the HR team requires additional support to help manage day-to-day HR operations and relieve pressure on the Transformation Business Partners. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HR professionals who can quickly integrate into a busy environment and make an immediate impact.

The Role

We are seeking proactive and adaptable HR Generalists who can hit the ground running and provide broad HR support across a variety of activities. You will work across the employee lifecycle, supporting managers and stakeholders with operational HR matters while ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Providing generalist HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
Supporting employee relations matters, including absence, performance and disciplinary processes
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and workforce administration
Supporting organisational change and transformation activities
Managing HR cases and ensuring accurate documentation
Maintaining employee records and HR systems
Working collaboratively across HR and transformation teams
Responding to a variety of operational HR queries and prioritiesAbout You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a broad HR Generalist position
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
Experience managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
A flexible and proactive approach
