Our client is a well-established hotel operator based in Central London and is now looking for a Human Resources Director to join the senior leadership team.

The privately equity owned business operates a number of iconic hotels around the UK and is continually expanding with recent hotel acquisitions in Europe.

As part of the growth cycle, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Human Resources Director to join the business. The incoming HR Director will need to be both commercially-minded and people focused as a professional, able make business decisions, act as a diversity and inclusion evangelist for the business, and assist with further group hotel acquisitions from a due diligence and people migration perspective.

The HR Director will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer, as well as being heavily involved in decision making with the group owners. The hotels sector in both the UK and London is currently undergoing a challenging period in terms of attracting and retaining the enough talent, in this regard the HR Director will need to develop innovative and attractive Talent Acquisition Strategies for the business.

We seek an experienced and enthusiastic individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to articulate the HR and people agenda for the hotel group.

Previous experience as a HR Director or Head of HR would be a real advantage in this role, as well as some experience of the hotels, hospitality, travel or service related industries.

The Human Resources Director / HR Director role is based in Central London, however it is envisaged the role will be ‘hybrid’ with the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days per week.
