HR Business Partner
Generalist Role
Location: Duxbury, hybrid or home working
Salary: up to £42k

We have been at the forefront of green services provision since 1989 and offer innovative solutions for the management and maintenance of the green environment.
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our small team of HR professionals. This is a true generalist role where the key responsibility is to engage and Partner the business leaders, managers and key stakeholders, supporting the delivery of our People Strategy. Providing an effective HR Service covering the full generalist remit to our multi site operations. The successful applicant will have a busy and varied workload and must have a track record of managing the full remit of HR Casework, end to end, in a fast paced environment.

More about the role:

Take ownership and respond positively and with pace to complex employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management; both informally and formally; supporting and coaching our managers to ensure a timely conclusion

Partner with managers to support and provide HR expertise to develop their people and to support the business objectives by providing technical advice, knowledge and continuous improvement initiatives linked to all aspects of the employee life-cycle.

Design and deliver HR training and coaching to equip managers to drive performance and manage employee relations matters, promoting engagement and retention within the business.

Provide HR support in implementing employee engagement, talent management and performance development, including coaching managers on performance management issues and processes.

Support resourcing initiatives including focused advice/research and choose job advertising options which work best; utilising social media marketing campaigns, niche job boards, publications/journals and headhunting avenues

Support Business Development including the end to end TUPE process

Line management responsibility may also be part of the role
Skills and Personal Qualities:

Proven knowledge gained in a generalist HR management role in a fast paced multi-site operation

Degree, HR Management or similar academic education; CIPD qualification

Up to date employment law knowledge and an understanding of its practical application with a commercial approach

Experience of managing and bringing complex ER matters to a successful conclusion

Experience of managing end to end TUPE processes would be advantageous

Excellent people management skills, self reliance and tenacity

Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and the use of IT systems to produce statistics and reports

Proven ability to effectively coach management through complex and difficult issues

Demonstrated project management skills
