Are you an experienced Senior HR Advisor looking for your first HR Business Partner opportunity?

With a large frontline workforce and multiple sites across the UK and Ireland, our client is seeking an ambitious HR professional who is ready to take the next step into a true business partnering role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has developed a strong employee relations background within sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, engineering, facilities management, transport, construction or aviation and is now looking to work more strategically with senior stakeholders.
What will the HR Business Partner role involve?
Reporting into the senior HR leadership team, you will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across a diverse client group, supporting both day-to-day people challenges and longer-term organisational objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
Partnering with operational leaders to drive engagement, performance and employee development
Providing expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and complex casework
Coaching and developing managers to build confidence and capability in people management
Supporting workforce planning, recruitment and retention initiatives across multiple locations
Analysing people data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision making
Contributing to wider people projects and change initiatives, helping to embed best practice across the business
Supporting a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture across the organisation
Suitable Candidate for the HR Business Partner vacancy:
Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor or Junior HR Business Partner position
Strong employee relations experience gained within a unionised or operational environment
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards qualification
Confident building relationships with managers and influencing stakeholders at different levels
Commercially aware, proactive and keen to develop into a strategic business partnering role
Ability to travel occasionally to support a multi-site workforce
