Do you love all things HR but hate the idea of micro management and no independence? Perhaps your current role doesn’t provide you the flexibility to support that all important life outside of work?

If that sounds like you perhaps you’d like to join us as our new HR assistant and forge a path of your own at our Mitcham site?

We are a family owned business, who are part of a large a famous food group. We are quite an intimate team, lots of us have been here for a long time. Importantly though we like being here, love our products and enjoy what we do.

So. Flexibility. We are looking for some HR support on a permanent basis for 25 hours a week. But how that is delivered is up to you (ok, and us, but mainly you). Perhaps it’s 3 full days, maybe it’s 5 short days to support that school drop off and pick up? However, we need someone on site for those hours to support our team.

You’ll get involved in a number of HR functions and be the main contact on site. You’ll report into a HR advisor on another site. This means you’ll ideally have to have some experience of HR regulations and functions. If ER, OH and recruitment process are all familiar terms you’d be a great candidate, especially if it’s coupled with great admin and organisational skills.

Money wise, we’ll pay competitively and give you 28 days off (includes bank holidays, and all pro rata of course), but we’ll also support you within the wider group. Perhaps CIPD development is on your agenda? 

You’ll also get involved in multi site, cross group HR planning which will involve driving to the Bedfordshire area. Realistically, you’ll need to be car driver with access to a vehicle.
