Is to support a wide range of HR related activity to support the employee experience whilst ensuring compliance to employment legislation.

Providing timely and accurate advice to support managers with people opportunities or concerns
Managing casework, including employee relations, managing sickness absence and all administration associated with cases

Health & Safety
Under the Health & safety at Work Act 1974, as an employee, you must take reasonable care for the health & safety of yourself and for other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work. The Act also states that you must not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything in the interest of health, safety and welfare. You are also required to make yourself aware of the Company’s health and safety policies and to report any accidents/incidents/near misses.
Hygiene
As an employee you will follow the Company policy by implementing high standards of personal hygiene, following hygiene rules and carrying out responsibilities for cleaning including a ‘clean as you go policy’. You have a responsibility under the law to follow Food Hygiene Regulations and you will do this by following our hygiene rules which will ensure the safety and quality of our products. Additionally you will be vigilant and inform management of any illness and other potential hygiene hazards including contravention of hygiene rules and procedures by other members of staff.
Accountabilities
First point of contact for HR Queries, face to face, e-mail and telephone
Providing timely and accurate advice to support managers with people opportunities or concerns
Managing casework for employee relations, i.e. investigations, flexible working requests
Managing sickness absence and all administration associated with case
Support with starters and leavers process
Analysis of HR processes, provide and implement process improvements.
Supporting internal and external audits
Weekly and monthly HR Reporting
Support the HR Advisor/HR Business Partner with ad hoc projects
Maintaining all data in SAP, letter writing, filing, and any administration tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Previous HR experience is essential with a good knowledge of employment legislation
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written skills
IT knowledge (SAP, Microsoft Office etc) and an understanding of HR systems
Strong attention to detail
Organisation and multitasking skills
A focus on quality being commercially and customer aware
Respect for and able to manage confidential/sensitive information
HR Qualification desirable but not essential
